The Blog Title

So I've decided to blog because I have quickly become the Mom that doesn't scrapbook her second child's life. I hope to use this to document the kids growing up so they don't hate me later for not having a cute and frilly scrapbook to take to their college apartment. That seems to be the time I became sentimental for these types of things and began looking for my 'baby book'...which does not exist...but, no worries Mom, you were busy with twins...I totally understand now that I struggle to do this with two kids of single births!

Anyway, the title of the blog is a B description of each member of my family. 'The Brewer' is my husband Nick. He doesn't understand blogging and will not be fairly represented in all my posts or pictures, but this is by request; just know that he is present and an amazing father and husband...oh, and the best homemade beer brewer ever!

On to 'The Beauty'. This is our first daughter Naida who is quickly approaching 3 years old. Oh, little Naida, she is the dream we had always dreamed of a kid. She is a riot to have around and says and does the funniest things ever, and to put it most simply, the most beautiful kid I know, hence the title reference.

And now for 'The Bean'. This refers to our second daughter, Sabine. Sabine graced us with her presence this past July and has been a joy to have around ever since. We named her after the Sabine River in Texas and her nickname quickly became 'Bean'. Sorry kiddo, but you'll hate me for worse things when you're a teenager!

And finally, we have 'The Baker'. This is me, Mom, the blogger. By no means should this lead you to believe that I'm some amazing baker and these kids have homemade pastries for breakfast each morning! I just really enjoy cooking and baking but can't say I'm good at either..it was the only B word I could think of that even somewhat described me.
