This is Nick and Naida's first big campout this summer. Sabine can be seen taking in the fun as well...
Of course, the little one wanted in on all the fun so we let her roast some marshmellows!
Then we spent our second Halloween up in this frozen tundra of Chicago. Naida was a Fairy Princess and Sabine...of course a bean! Naida really enjoyed the holiday this year and it was so fun for us to see how excited she got over dressing up and trick or treating.
Naida is really getting into doing art projects so I decided to get her some painting pen things that seemed like they'd be less of a mess. Well, I learned to not give a 3 year old paint pens and then check email because a lot can happen in a matter of 2-3 minutes!
And now we are moving from Fall to Winter. The cold is awful, but having 4 real seasons really is nice. I took some photos the other day when Nick took on the task of raking the yard. Its best to just wait until all the leaves fall and do this on one day. Otherwise your constantly raking your neighbor's leaves out of your yard. The fact that we're outside on a November afternoon here and not in winter coats or snowsuits is amazing. This time last year, things were A LOT colder already.
