Chirstmas in Texas 2009....at Momo's House

We spent Chirstmas Eve at Nick's Mom's house...this is the girls' Momo. Santa came in full force to Momo's house and it was just as exciting on this night to put out cookies as it was at home in Illinois just days earlier. However, Naida decided that on this night, Santa needed lettuce for his reindeer and bottled water instead of milk!

Aunt Nichole got Sabine this awesome sock cat that she squeals at when she sees. She loved it immediately!

Naida got a cat in a box (thank goodness) that does just about everything a real cat does except require a litter box. This thing was freaking us out as it laid to this side while were were opening presents because it would just randomly purr and lick its paws and meow. Naida decided to name him Franklin (we all looked at each other strangely, but I love the creativity!).

She also got a great new supply of games and workbooks. She's now at the age where we're learning how to follow rules of games and take turns. She is also learning to write letters and numbers and draw different kinds of lines. Its great to see her little brain chugging away!

We had an amazing Chirstmas with Momo. She blesses us each year with buckets of needed gifts in addition to fun toys! Thanks for such an amazing holiday Momo, we love you dearly and can't wait until your next visit to Chicago!! XOXOX
